TT01 Class pack of wood

Turnaround Timbers can supply each of the component pieces to make the stool. In all options the legs will be supplied at the correct length with the compound angles already cut on both ends. The rails and seat tops will come in the approximate lengths--students will still have to measure and cut to exact lengths.

Options

Option 1: Mixture of Australian eucalypts in a variety of species/colours. This options highlights the desired aesthetic of recycled timber.

Option 2: Each component supplied from the same colour eucalypt. The legs one colour. The rails one colour. The seat a mixture of both.

Option 3 Premium: We will aim to give each stool out of the same species. The class pack will have a mixture of species but each individual stool will be bundled together with all pieces one colour..

Quality wood

The wood supplied in all options will be perfectly straight and dressed to exact sizes to match the plans.

The Stool Project TT01

Constructing out of recycled wood provides excellent curriculum opportunities to explore the mandated the consideration of sustainability at all levels of the design process. Learning about sustainability becomes a concrete learning experience and not just abstract theory.
