Turnaround Timbers offers a full set up plans and instructions for The Stool Project TT01. The plans are detailed and the instructions cover every step in a language that would allow students to be self directed (if this is desired).
The pack will be sent as a high resolution pdf. The plans will be suitable for printing A3 versions. It's a one-off purchase and we ask that you don't spread them around via the teacher sharing network (you know what we're talking about!). Share the link to this product instead--do your bit to promote sustainability.
The plans for the jigs and templates required are also included in the plans.

The Stool Project TT01
This project and the construction process has been student/school tested by experienced woodwork teacher Scott Barnham and is guaranteed to produce an fail-safe final product for all skill levels. Students are always super proud of the finished stool and are eager to take it home, and we guarantee it will become part of family history for many years.
Sustainability and the curriculum
Constructing out of recycled wood provides excellent curriculum opportunities to explore the mandated the consideration of sustainability at all levels of the design process. Learning about sustainability becomes a concrete learning experience and not just abstract theory.
